Emphasizing the concept of womb, the gallery conceptually imitates embryonic life by bringing out an example of how might one achieve true comfort in life without having to be narrowed down by the societies reason for our being.  In every different way, viewers will add the experience at our gallery to their own ways of meditation and exploration of their souls.  Transformed, translated, or transmitted by the audience, works at Space Womb let one grow, just like a mothers womb that bears a growing embryo.

 

Space Womb, founded in 2009 and located in Long Island City, New York, is a contemporary art gallery that exhibits abstract works of emerging and established artists from around the world.  The galleries primary goal is to bring different perspectives to the audience while helping to develop artists' career in the industry.  The gallery also aims to connect and share artist work with international art institutions.
