LPAC has a rich history of providing opportunities for children and families to gain a theater experience and build a tradition of art appreciation that will flourish for years to come. This has been accomplished through a policy of professional artistic standards, community outreach and service, and low-ticket prices. LPAC presents a Jazz Jam Series; a Weekend Family Series of theatre, dance and music; the Schooltime Series; and the Lunchtime and Teatime Series of concerts in addition to numerous special events scheduled throughout the year.
LPAC also serves the community by offering its facilities for rental to the public. The Mainstage Theatre was designed as a proscenium theater with a level of finish appropriate for formal, public presentations of the performing arts. The Little Theatre features a raised, thrust stage surrounded on three sides by 226 seats. Both theatres are served by a lobby, and box office facilities.
