
Hailed as Queens' largest celebration of culinary diversity, Queens…A Taste of the World featured over 40 restaurants and fine eateries from the borough which represented the vast variety of cuisine ranging from traditional Italian dishes to new-age Asian fare. This fundraising event supports the Queens Economic Development Corporation, a not-for-profit organization providing vital services to business communities throughout the borough.
This year in the Caesar's Club at Citi Field, we welcomed celebrity Chef Dave Lieberman and author Anahad O'Connor as our Taste Masters. The duo joined Borough President Helen Marshall in presenting the evening's top culinary awards. Restaurant participants were judged by the Taste Team, an expert culinary panel. This year we also honored restaurants that have been in business for 50 + years with our Iconic Restaurant Award.
