Celebration of Jazz at Resorts World until March 3

String Quartet in Forest Hills on March 3

The Praxis String Quartet will perform at The Church-in-the-Gardens, 50 Ascan Ave., Forest Hills, on Saturday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. Organized by Musica Reginae Productions, the program will include Dvorak's String Quartet in F Major, Brahms's Piano Quintet in F MinorMusik für den Schultheiß by David T. Civic Action in Long Island City on March 11

The Noguchi Museum, 9-01 33rd Rd., will host a discussion on Long Island City, while exhibiting Civic Action, a show featuring local artists' visions for the community, on Sunday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Topics will include green spaces, economic development and transportation. Registration not required; pay what you wish. At 3 p.m., Civic Action team members will discuss a section of Long Island City as part of Community in Context: The Story of Ravenswood. The Official Blues Brothers Revue on March 17

This concert stars the two lovable characters from the Blues Brothers movie who use the power of music to seek redemption from their wicked ways. The Official Blues Brothers Revue is the only Blues Brothers show officially sanctioned by Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi's widow, Judith Belushi Pisano. Party in style with Jake, Elwood, their Gospel Singers and the Intercontinental Rhythm and Blues Revue Band. East Meets West With New Prix-Fixe Menu at Deluge

Starting on Monday, Feb. 20 and running for a few months, Flushing's famous Deluge Restaurant, located in the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel at 135-20 39th Ave., will offer a $16.88 lunch special that gives patrons the opportunity to mix cuisines. Diners chose one starter and one entree from various "Eastern" selections, such as Cucumber Spicy Bean Sauce and Sichuan Chicken, and various "Western" options, such as Butternut Squash Soup and Margherita Pizza.
